A: We use the terms interchangeably for this product. Both mean the truck has been disassembled, defective parts replaced, and critical components rebuilt to factory specifications. It is not just a “used” truck with a wash and paint. We provide a detailed refurbishment report for each unit.
Q2: Can I choose between 371HP and 400HP? Is there a price difference?
A: Yes, both options are available. The 400HP version (Weichai WP12 engine) costs approximately USD 1,500 – 2,000 more than the 371HP version due to larger displacement and stronger driveline components. Both are Euro 2 or Euro 3.
Q3: Does the truck come with 12 tires? Are they new?
A: Standard configuration includes 12 pieces of 12.00R20 used tires (80% tread minimum). We can upgrade to brand new 12.00R20 tyres (Chinese brand: Double Coin, Triangle, etc.) for an additional cost. A spare tire is included (13th tire).
Q4: Is the automatic transmission available on the refurbished Nx 8×4?
A: Yes, we can install a Chinese automatic transmission (AMT) on the 371HP and 400HP versions. However, manual (10‑speed or 12‑speed) is standard and preferred for heavy mining. Please specify your requirement.
Q5: What is the dump body size and material?
A: Standard dump body: 7.2m (L) × 2.3m (W) × 1.5m (H) – approximately 22‑24 m³ heaped. Material: NM450 wear‑resistant steel (bottom plate 8mm, side plates 6mm). Thicker plates (10mm bottom) available for heavy rock.
Q6: Can I get right‑hand drive (RHD)?
A: Absolutely. We have RHD conversion kits for HOWO Nx. The conversion includes a new dashboard, steering column, pedal assembly, and wiring. The process takes 5–7 days. LHD is standard stock.
Q7: What emission standard? Is Euro 2 allowed in my country?
